Thanks to a sponsored run arranged by the EVAU Evangelisches Gymnasium, we were able to finance a greenhouse in Soweto (a suburb of Johannesburg) where people with and without disabilities now work together. Utho Ngathi founder and former student Andreas Wörster paid several visits with co-founder Masauso Phiri, reporting to students and teachers on their work in southern Africa. Following the sponsored run – in which all those involved worked up a sweat – Andreas and Masauso were presented with a cheque for €10,000 of donations.
